I've had my eye on this spooky-looking plant in my parents' front yard for a while. It finally bloomed! The pear trees out front have been weighed down with these tiny, sweet pears for the last couple of weeks.  The limbs were almost at the breaking point when I finally got out there to pick them. Thanks to my Nana and our neighbor, Granny, I've recently come into a lot of apples.  There's no way I could eat or bake them all into something, so I decided to can them.  Come October when the four of us are 500 miles away...

glass bottle

I'm just gonna go ahead and warn everyone: this post is about to be a link fest. The pretty glass bottle that my Burt's Bees Vitamin E Body & Bath Oil came in has inspired me to buy more glass bottles for storing homemade health and beauty products. My friend Chuck told me about two really neat websites where I can find glass bottles for next to nothing (SKS Bottle & Packaging, Inc.Sunburst Bottle Company), and I'm pretty pumped about it. MadMen Selena Faye Full Body

It is no secret that Mad Men may be my new Lost.  I love it and I loved Season Four's first episode!  I am very excited about the new season.

Side Note:  I hate when bloggers pretend like they don't watch tv.  Like if they post about television shows their readers will be disappointed in them.  I think that is so dumb.  I love television and I don't care if that sounds trashy.

So it doesn't matter whether or not you love Mad Men as much as me, Mad Men Yourself.  It is quite fun. This is me.
